Ingredients:
400 gms chick peas (kabuli chana)
1 onion finely chopped
2 green chilies deseeded and finely chopped
1 tbsp ginger paste
1 tbsp garlic paste
1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
1/4 tsp soda bi-carb
100 ml bread crumbs
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1-2 tsp salt or as per taste
oil for frying
Method:
- Soak the chick peas at least for four hours or overnight.
- Drain the water and mince them in a mixer.
- Add rest of he ingredients except oil
- Roll them into round or oval balls and deep fry in medium hot oil till golden in color
- Serve it hot with mayonnaise(tahini paste) vegetable salad in a pita bread or you can enjoy it simply with ketchup or dhaniya chutney or humus .
