Ingredients:
4 boiled potatoes boiled and mashed
1/2 cup boiled and coarsely crushed green peas or channa dal or both
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp chaat masala
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp garam masala/sabzi masala
salt to taste
oil for frying

Method:
- Combine all the ingredients except oil in a bowl and mix well.
- Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and shape each portion into a round, flat tikki.
- Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) on a medium flame and grease it with oil and cook the tikkis, using little oil, till both sides are golden brown in colour or fry in hot oil.
- Serve hot with tamarind chuttney,curd ,green chutney grated raddish and sliced onions.
Note:
- If you are not deep frying the tikki then you can avoid bread crumbs.
