1 kg raw green mangoes
4 tsp roasted cumin powder
2 tsp black salt (kala namak)
salt to taste
3 cup sugar
a few drops yellow color(optional)
Method:
- Wash and boil the mangoes. Let them cool.
- Now peel the mango and mash and strain the pulp.
- Add five cups of water and mix well and bring it to a boil.
- Add the cumin powder, black salt, salt and sugar.
- Mix well till sugar is dissolved. Set aside to cool.
- Add color and mix well. keep it in the refrigerator.
- Pour into glasses as required and dilute with chilled water as per your taste.
